Bill Cunningham New York (2010) is a delightful documentary which should be an inspiration to everyone of us "over 55" in I'On At Home. The film's subject is the famous, recently deceased, legendary New York Times photographer of Manhattan's high society and fashion trends, whether at glittering galas or on the streets--East Side, West Side, and all around the town. The film looks at Cunningham at 80 or so, still riding all over the city on his signature bike for his snapshots of the fashion frontier, on the street and among the elite. One of the best-known figures in New York, Cunningham seems to have been one of the citiy's most beloved characters After you see this film, you'll love him too. I guarantee it.
