This series will be a kick-off for 350 Years of Carolina History (1670-2020), featuring expert lecturers and historians from around our state. This year's lectures will begin October 17th and run Thursdays through November 21st. Arcadia Publishing/History Press is the series' sponsor
Art of the Charleston Renaissance with CofC professor Dr. Marian Mazzone
Charleston has long been an artistic hub, but the early 20th century was nothing short of a Renaissance. This presentation will focus on the visual artists who were integral to developing the subjects and styles that have come to epitomize Charleston imagery from the 1920s to today.
