Explore Building a Legacy: The Vibrant Vision Collection of Jonathan Green and Richard Weedman with artist and collector Jonathan Green. This is a virtual program presented by The Gibbes Museum of Art.

Jonathan is a local Charleston artist of Gullah descent. He and his partner, Richard Weedman, have amassed a collection of 1300 paintings, sculptureand works on paper of which forty-nine will be displayed at the Gibbs from August 21, 2020 through January 10, 2021. Building a Legacy, offers a glimpse into the artistic inspiration behind Green’s own artwork.
