We are excited to offer IAH members an exclusive tasting of red and white wines, and cheese, from the Tili winery in Assisi Italy.

Francesco Rossetti  AIS Sommelier Executive Wine Master, will be offering wines only available for purchase in Italy, or by direct purchase through the company. Attendees are highly encouraged to place orders (if they enjoy the wine). Our hostess, Linda Bender, said the wines are very reasonably priced and well worth the purchase! In addition to the wine, there will be six different cheeses, salami, four kinds of olive oils, bread from Assisi, pasta, bruschetta with two special spreads and cookies -  all available to order.

The owners are delightful, fun and very knowledgeable about wine and cheese.

This will be a special treat for those who attend, no need to travel to Assisi, Italy to savor their fabulous wine!

The Tili winery extends over the hills that flank the town of Assisi to the east. The geographical and climatic conditions guarantee excellent healthiness to the vineyards. These require very few targeted chemical treatments which are also carried out with the aid of a meteorological station with which the vineyard and olive grove are constantly monitored. The company's fifteen hectares of vineyards include the best vines carefully selected and cultivated in espalier so that they can be kissed by the sun all day long. The use of particular techniques such as short pruning tying with traditional loops respecting the ecosystem spring thinning grassing associated with targeted and calculated ploughing careful integrated pest control without the use of pesticides and herbicides show the love and respect for the nature of the family-run company.
