Samantha Porzlet is a Clemson Extension Water Resources Agent and is also a Board member of the South Carolina Native Plant Society. She will be able to provide us with information regarding the importance of including native plants in our landscaping, characteristics of particular plants, what will flourish here, and how to do it in a way that complies with HOA rules.

 

From the Extension office, those who are interested can take a short (10 minute) drive to Roots and Shoots Nursery (1108 Wappoo Road) and put some of your newfound knowledge to work.
