Let’s walk, and talk, and get to know each other better while getting some steps in and checking out the Pitt Street Bridge. There may have been some changes since you were last there, or perhaps you’ve never gotten around to a visit - it’s a shorter, level walk adjacent to Old Village, features lovely views, and is dog-friendly. The Pitt Street Bridge originated as a plank bridge in the Revolutionary War era and served as the connector bridge between Mount Pleasant and Sullivans Island for about 20 years, until the Ben Sawyer Bridge opened in 1945.
Afterward, interested parties may go to the Gala Cafe & Bakery for coffee, a late breakfast, or early lunch.
Please note: we’ll reschedule in the case of inclement weather.
Carpooling can be arranged.
