December is a busy month so we are not going far away. The park has several trails we can combine and get in four to five miles of hiking. There is also a new "Story Walk" installation that grandparents should check out. The story is spaced out to read along the trail with actions to go with. The book will be changed every few months.
There is a $2.00 per person admission fee. If you have a county park Gold Pass there is no charge.
We will meet in the Bilo/Second State Coffee parking lot on Shelmore and carpool from there. We will depart at 8:00 AM.
