South Tibwin Trail

S Tibwin McClellanville, SC 

A beautiful four mile hike that goes through hardwood forest, by tidal marsh, freshwater ponds and managed wetlands. It can be muddy if there has been lots of rain. I also advise wearing long pants with socks that pants can be tucked into. We will walk though some tall grasses. We will need bug spray and water to drink. There are no rest rooms.

The entrance to the trail is 11.5 miles north of the Seewee Visitor Center.

We will meet in the Second State Coffee/Wood and Grain parking lot on Shelmore at 8:00AM.  We will carpool and leave at 8:10AM.
